May 2017—ViroStat released two sets of monoclonal antibodies to Shigella—one set specific to Shigella sonnei and another set specific to Shigella flexneri 2a. Potential applications for these include direct bacterial detection by ELISA and lateral flow rapid tests.

April 2017—ViroStat has introduced three Monotope monoclonal antibodies that are specific to Chlamydia pneumonia and do not cross-react with the related Chlamydia trachomatis and Chlamydia psittaci. They function in ELISA and IFA and are candidates for rapid test applications.

June 2014—ViroStat released a pan-reactive monoclonal antibody that is positive for all 27 enteroviruses tested to date.

February 2014—ViroStat has developed three new monoclonal antibodies to the nucleocapsid protein (N) of hantavirus. One of these recognizes all viruses tested (six) while the other two recognize four viral species. These new antibodies are useful tools to further the research of this viral genus.

January 2014—ViroStat has released three new monoclonal antibodies that have broad reactivity with several rhinovirus types. These antibodies are reactive with the VP3 capsid protein and function in ELISA and IFA to detect these viruses. Data sheets for these antibodies are available from the company.

ViroStat offers two new sets of Monotope monoclonal antibodies to the major capsid protein of the GI and GII noroviruses. The new antibodies function in ELISA and lateral flow applications for rapid detection of these viruses.
