June 2016—BioTek launched the Gen5 3.0 data analysis software for its imaging and microplate detection instruments.

June 2016—BioTek Instruments launched the Lionheart FX Automated Live Cell Imager with Augmented Microscopy. Lionheart FX is optimized for kinetic live cell imaging, with up to 100× air and oil immersion magnification in a variety of slides, dishes, microplates, and flasks.

BioTek released the Synergy Neo2 Multi-Mode Reader, which is designed for speed and ultra-high performance and incorporates BioTek’s patented Hybrid Technology with independent optical paths. Continuously variable bandwidth quadruple monochromators, sensitive high transmission filter-based optics, and up to four photomultiplier tubes provide fast measurements with excellent results, according to a company statement.

February 2014—BioTek Instruments introduced the Cytation 5 Cell Imaging Multi-Mode Reader. The cell imager combines automated digital widefield microscopy with conventional multimode microplate detection.
