May 2014—Telcor released a software driver for the Pathfast cardiac biomarker analyzer that allows the company’s QML to automatically interface results from the analyzer to a laboratory information system and electronic medical record system. This automation improves operational efficiency within a point-of-care program and helps eliminate errors that can occur when manually charting test results. QML interfaces with more than 90 point-of-care device types and is an open system.
