Boulder Diagnostics has launched in Europe its ParaFlor kits for the detection of Giardia, Cryptosporidium, and Blastocystis infections for human and veterinary applications. The rapid assays enable detection in less than 10 minutes in fresh and fixed stool samples. They are also available for veterinary applications and research use only in humans in the United States.
The ParaFlor B kit is the first specific assay for the detection of the Blastocystis parasite.
