August 2014—HTG Molecular Diagnostics announced the availability of HTG EdgeSeq miRNA Whole Transcriptome Assay for measuring the expression of 2,275 human microRNAs described in the miRBase v20 database. The assay measures expression from small, sometimes difficult sample types, such as formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues and plasma. Automated on the HTG Edge System, the assay couples HTG’s proprietary nuclease protection chemistry with next-generation sequencing.
