April 2014—Finnish health care company Biohit Oyj and Randox Laboratories signed a licensing agreement giving Randox the worldwide licensing rights for GastroPanel. Developed by Biohit, GastroPanel is a noninvasive blood test for diagnosing and screening gastric disorders. The test detects H. pylori infection and damage or dysfunction of the stomach mucosa (atrophic gastritis).
