Ductless fume hoods, 1/14

January 2014—Air Science introduced its new Purair Eco line of energy-saving ductless fume hoods designed for chemical and particulate protection over a broad range of laboratory and industrial applications.

Air Science developed the Eco line in response to increasing worldwide demand for safe, cost-effective, and energy-efficient ductless containment cabinets that minimize stress on HVAC systems without compromising protection for employees and the environment.

The Purair Eco features a choice of controllers, including a new touchpad control with color display interface. An optional BACnet network interface connects all cabinet control, monitoring, and alarm functions to an open-source facility monitoring system. The ductless hoods come in five standard sizes ranging from 30 to 69 inches wide.
