March 2019—Bio-Rad Laboratories announced the availability of Liquichek Serum Indices, used as part of laboratory interference testing to monitor an instrument’s ability to detect hemolysis, icterus, and lipemia specimen interferences in patient samples. Liquichek Serum Indices are prepared from human-sourced material that resembles patient samples at HIL-relevant concentrations. The Unity QC data management solutions and Unity interlaboratory program, designed to improve the effectiveness of the laboratory’s statistical process control and monitor instrument performance among peer groups, are available for use with Liquichek Serum Indices.
