Waters Corp. has unveiled its Web-based Oasis method development tools, which are designed to help customers reduce their sample preparation method development time as part of Waters’ simple prep campaign.
Based on customers’ sample requirements, the Oasis method development tools will recommend the optimized solid-phase extraction protocol to develop robust methods with high recovery for liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry applications.
The micro sample volume tool optimizes the right sorbent and protocol for sample volumes from 25 to 300 µL, eliminating the evaporation and reconstitution steps and concentrating the compound of interest by 15 times. The maximum selectivity tool recommends ion-exchange and reversed-phase methods for aggressive sample cleanup in complex matrices, while the general purpose tool is intended for screening across a broad range of compounds and molecules.
