Ventana Medical Systems has signed a worldwide agreement with health care imaging expert Barco to provide Barco’s diagnostic and clinical review display systems for use with Ventana’s Virtuoso image and workflow management system.
By bundling the Barco display system with Virtuoso image and workflow management software, Ventana offers a fully integrated imaging system that provides consistent whole slide image viewing.
Barco’s Coronis Fusion 4MP DL diagnostic color display and MDRC-2124 widescreen clinical monitor offer the capability to view pathology images precisely. Barco’s system solution supports precise panning and zooming in on whole slide images. The display system includes Barco’s MediCal QAWeb, an automated, real-time calibration system that guarantees high-quality images and consistency across the screen for the life of the display.
