September 2018—Binding Site’s Immunologicals Group announced a line of highly purified TORCH antigens for use in in vitro diagnostic manufacturing and research applications. The TORCH panel is a serologic screening procedure used for diagnosing prenatal infections and comprises tests for toxoplasmosis; other infections, including syphilis; rubella; cytomegalovirus; and herpes simplex virus. The antigens exhibit high purity levels as a result of either chromatography, cross-flow ultra-filtration, ultra-centrifugation, or extraction processes and display the highest degrees of activity and specificity.
