February 2018—MilliporeSigma launched the Stericup Quick Release 500 mL vacuum filtration system, a filter bottle system for sterile filtration of cell culture media, buffers, and reagents.
The Stericup Quick Release system is the next generation of the Stericup sterile vacuum filtration system and offers ergonomic design updates such as a quick release filter funnel, a frosted, ample writing surface on the receiver bottle, a click-seal cap, and bold product identification, which displays membrane characteristics on the filter funnel. The system combines a Steritop filter unit with a redesigned Stericup receiver bottle for filtering and storing volumes from 150 to 1000 mL, with multiple membrane materials and pore sizes for the range of requirements.
