June 2014—AccuCore released AccuPathology 5.0, which includes enhancements in direct support of CoPath, PowerPath, Millennium, and AP Easy LIS. The Lab Equipment module now has optional wireless wi-fi logging to eliminate manual recording of temperatures and humidity levels and includes alerts. The Personnel Management, Evaluation, OPPE/FPPE module has been enhanced with LIS data mining with user selectable exclusions for accurate reviews. The CAP Checklist Readiness Management module now contains a checklist compliance dashboard, and the new Specimen Verification and Tracking module leverages existing hardware.
