July 2014—Designed specifically for point-of-care testing, Radiometer’s ABL90 Flex is a compact, acute care analyzer with optional wireless capability, making it possible to place it near the patient and close to the OR, ED, ICU, or a step-down unit.

The analyzer, which is fully operational on battery, supports real-time uploads of patient data, and common encryption protocols ensure data security. It measures 17 parameters, including blood gases, electrolytes, metabolites, and CO-oximetry, from just 65 µL of whole blood, and it offers automatic quality management and easy replacement of consumables.
The ABL90 Flex is available with 100-, 300-, 600-, and 900-test sensor cassettes for low-, medium-, and high-volume testing.
