Hemo Bioscience and Ortho Clinical Diagnostics have developed an exclusive arrangement for distribution of two new HBS products.
ELUclear, HBS’ glycine acid elution kit for the recovery of red cell bound antibodies, is validated for use in both tube and MTS gel techniques. The kit includes color-coded vials of acid and buffer solution, concentrated wash solution, and a wash bottle for simple wash solution preparation.
HBS C3 control cells received FDA 510(k) clearance in 2012. They are complement coated with C3 to confirm the efficacy of the AHG reagent used during direct and indirect antiglobulin tests.
HBS ELUclear and C3 control cells were expected to be available exclusively through Ortho Clinical Diagnostics at CAP TODAY press time.
