October 2018—Vidan Diagnostics announced the availability of its glucose test for the Lucidplus β-Ketone plus Glucose Monitoring System. The Lucidplus Glucose test is a CLIA-waived, whole blood test that features a range of 10–800 mg/dL to capture extreme glucose levels, a hematocrit range of 20–70 percent to minimize interference of low or high hematocrit levels, as well as high accuracy of its results that correlate to serum glucose testing performed in the central laboratory. Additional features of the system include individually wrapped test strips, storage of up to 1,000 test results, small sample volume, and a strip ejection function.
