September 2016—The CellAsic Onix2 Microfluidic System for live cell imaging aims to give researchers precise environmental control over live cells. The small control system fits next to the microscope and the low-profile manifold and plate sit on top of the microscope stage, delivering precise control of gas, temperature, media changes, and more. Features of the system include microfluidic plates with high-quality glass bottoms for optimal optical quality and fast media changes, fast addition/removal of drugs and other stimulants, and fast changes to gas conditions for quickly creating hypoxic environments. The software allows for programmable protocols for hands-free cell culture.
