August 2017—Streck UA-Cellular Complete, a comprehensive cellular and chemistry analyte urinalysis control, is an integrated urinalysis control for the Siemens Clinitek Atlas/Sysmex UF-1000i and Arkray Aution Hybrid AU-4050 integrated systems. UA-Cellular Complete features true cellular components (no latex or other synthetic material) and provides three concentrations of combined urinalysis control to represent the various patient sample scenarios. UA-Cellular Complete also features assays for manual chemistry methods, the hCG pregnancy test, and the Siemens Clinitek Status series.
The urinalysis control is designed to align six urine particle types (red blood cells, white blood cells, cast, crystals, bacteria, and epithelial) with the common urine chemistry analytes found in a patient sample. The integrated control tests the entire system’s ability to accurately identify and quantify chemistry and cellular components.
UA-Cellular Complete is packaged in 120 mL flip-top cap plastic bottles, three levels per kit. Closed-vial stability is 105 days and open-vial stability is 30 days.
