October 2016—Yaskawa Motoman’s AutoSorter 2000BB bulk sorter has a new configuration available that can maintain frozen specimens in a -20°C environment during the sorting process. The high-speed bulk sorter for high-volume commercial laboratories provides maximum specimen throughput at up to 2,000 tubes per hour. It minimizes manual handling of specimens through bulk loading and unloading, and it reduces sequential sorting by fine sorting in one step. The autosorter accommodates a wide range of container types and sizes, enables data connectivity, and sorts to 24 bins with options for loading to racks or a track.
